Ads are not evil!

Another recent ruckus that has been going around is about a battle between "Ad Block" and "Noscript" both extension for Firefox that have different main intents but can both do one thing really well.

Block ads, and you know what I do understand this need. Some sites have over the top bandwidth hogging ads that are just stupid! Other sites are nothing but ads and paginate there content to some extreme to ensure you see as many ads as possible!

My suggestion for these types of sites? Don't visit them, find another source for your content need but you if you do block the ads from those sites I am not going to cry over it.

What I dislike are those people who think blocking ads is some "right", or "I already pay for my internet, I don't want to watch ads also!".

Without ads a lot of the sites you so enjoy would be gone, they would not exist OR they would be pay content only!

Nothing is free in this world, Every site costs money to run. Just like you can't go into most coffee shops and use wifi without buying a cup of coffee, you can't expect to use websites without some form of payment.

Oh but I do pay, I pay for my internet every month!!

What does the internet do? It gets you from point A to point B on the oh great WWW. Do you have a car? What does it do? It gets you from point A to point B in the REAL WORLD.. Do you expect free things in the REAL WORLD just because you already paid for the car that got you around?

No you don't.. Wake up to reality please.
