Speeding doesn't kill, stupid people do!

car 1 going 60, car 2 going 100, If someone pulls out in front of these drives car 2 has less time to respond and therefore is driving to fast and should get a ticket and be responsible for any accident.

What never seems to get brought up in these cases is car 3.. The car that pulled out in front of the other 2 in the first place and caused them to have to hit the brakes!

Why do cops sit on the side of the road with a speed detector when instead they should be focusing on the cause of accidents and traffic congestion, the "idiot drive".

That person who realizes they are in the left lane of a 4 lane freeway and there exit is to the right only 1/4 mile away and they decide to make a mad dash between cars across 4 lanes of traffic causing multiple people to swerve or hit there brakes while they seek escape off the freeway!

Or that person who instead of merging gracefully they speed all the way to the last bit of road left and shoehorn there way onto the freeway at the last minute causing a dozen people behind him to have to hit there brakes in succession!

Listen I know they can't make an idiot detector so police rely heavily on the speed detector but I have seen things like this happen right in front of that police car sitting on the side of the road eyes clued to his radar detector and they do nothing..

Can we get there heads out of there symbiotic radar rear end and have them do something usefull?
